The stellar Door Kickers: Action Squad from developer KillHouse Games will be blasting its way onto iOS and Android early next year. It's an action-packed co-op shooter where you take on the role of a crack SWAT operative who's sent to lay siege to enemy strongholds and rescue as many hostages as possible.You may remember KillHouse's original Door Kickers from all the way back in 2014. That one was an excellent top-down strategy game which challenged you to plan and execute a series of intense sieges. Action Squad boasts a much more aggressive style of play than its predecessor, as well as a new pixel art aesthetic which, if you ask me, looks great.At launch, the game will boast 6 playable characters, each with their own unique combat style and upgrade options. There are a whopping 84 non-linear levels to take on, as well as over 40 powerful weapons and gear items to test out.The levels remain varied thanks to the 20+ enemy types that you'll have to contend with, and there are 4 distinct mission types to master. What makes it even more enjoyable are the couch and online co-op systems.
